Show of Travelling Exhibit in Hyderabad, Pakistan

On 20th April 2009 the Gender and Water Alliance (GWA) Pakistan in collaboration with Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (SIDA), and Management & Development Centre (MDC) showed the Travelling Exhibit on Gender and Water at the Dr. N.A Baloch Auditorium in Hyderabad.

The program entitled "South Asia Women and Water Travelling Exhibition" was a very successful event attended by more than 300 people including ministers, women farmers, activists, civil society representatives, and many GWA members and other partner organisations.
Prominent personalities including Ms. Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto - Minister Women Development Sindh, and Mr. Mazher-ul-Haq Siddiqui, Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh participated in the launch, giving their support and thus, a major boost to raising awareness about gender issues in water in the region.
