5th World Water Forum: Bridging Gender Divides in Water

More than 80 members of the Gender and Water Alliance from across the globe joined up in Istanbul in March 2009, at the 5th World Water Forum, in an effort to mainstream gender equity issues in the discussions and emerging recommendations. GWA aimed to bridge specifically the gender gap in the various agendas, as “Bridging divides for water” was the slogan of the Water Forum.
