World Water Day 2007

Congratulations with World Water Day. In many places of this world this day is celebrated with various activities such as seminars and meetings, but also with directly informing people in villages and cities about wise use of water, their rights to water and sanitation, hygiene, the proper use of their facilities, etc. There still are too many places where people hardly have access to water, even for their first basic needs, which is worst for women because they usually are responsible for water and hygiene in the households. Even today lots of people’s illegal settlements are demolished and they are transported outside their cities, far away from employment opportunities, and which is worst of all, without water supply, toilets and solid waste removal. Let’s all try to work harder towards more and better water for poor women, men and children all over this world.

Have a conscious Water Day!
