African Water Information Clearing House Africa related Water news and information is available on this website of UN-Water/Africa (formerly IGWA). The objective of UN-Water/Africa is to coordinate and harmonize water activities in Africa by various UN and other subregional IGOs. The other objective is to promote joint collaborative activities in water sector in Africa by these agencies.

The assessment is produced by a broad partnership of practitioners, researchers and policy makers, in which a group of GWA members and GWA contacts review the Chapters from a gender-and-diversity perspective. This GWA-group will also produce a thematic gender paper in this programme.

To this end, DGF provides web-based platforms that make aid and development efforts more effective around the world.
The portal addresses multiple issues through knowledge gateways called dgCommunities which are subscribed to by thousands of members worldwide. dgCommunities provides a collaborative space for professionals working to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development worldwide. Each online community is centered on specific themes and guided by experts in the field. Information resource links are included, and knowledge, tools and contacts pertaining to the theme are shared.
